Marina Kiroudi (Bonn), Shantelle Weber (Stellenbosch) and Bert Roebben will be chairing a round table on "Big Questions, Little Theologies. Children Participating in Theological Research" at the digital conference of the Religious Education Association.
In this world in transition, children are entitled to an educationally “safe and brave space” in which to grow up, prepare for the future and learn to think, feel and act in a concretely responsible manner. They are not only the recipients of an educational offer, but can also invent scenarios themselves “to make this world a better place”. Which kind of theologies are children developing to deal with the big existential questions? In this roundtable, we engage in a conversation with colleagues who work with children worldwide and are looking for innovative collaborative research methods.
