An der Fakultät findet international wahrgenommene theologische Spitzenforschung statt. Mitglieder der Fakultät sind in internationalen Gremien, Boards und Forschungsverbünden engagiert. Sie sind in internationale Forschungsnetzwerke eingebunden. Sie werden als Gastwissenschaftler*innen und Fellows an Forschungseinrichtungen im In- und Ausland tätig. Sie veranstalten internationale Symposien und Workshops und präsentieren ihre Forschungsergebnisse weltweit bei Tagungen und Kongressen. Sie publizieren in diversen Sprachen in renommierten internationalen Zeitschriften und Publikationsreihen.

Die Fakultät heißt regelmäßig internationale Gastwissenschaftler*innen willkommen. Sie lädt in jedem Semester Forschende aus dem In- und Ausland zu Gastvorträgen ein. Die schließt Kooperationsvereinbarungen mit Studieneinrichtungen im In- und Ausland ab.

The Faculty conducts internationally recognised cutting-edge theological research. Faculty members are involved in international committees, boards and research networks. They are guest researchers and fellows at other distinguished academic institutions in Germany and abroad. They organise international symposia and workshops and present their research at conferences and congresses worldwide. They publish in various languages in renowned international journals and publication series.

The faculty regularly welcomes international guest researchers. Every semester, we invite researchers from Germany and abroad to give guest lectures. We conclude cooperation agreements with study institutions in Germany and abroad.
